Announcing the audio narrators of my new novel
I'm ecstatic that I finally get to share the news about who is narrating my new novel That's What She Said.
I’m beyond thrilled to share that my upcoming queer, platonic comedy of errors, That’s What She Said, will have not one, but two incredible narrators for the audiobook!
And those narrators are:
Ell Potter, as Serena
Robyn Holdaway, as Beth
I was literally jumping - and screaming - for joy when I received the email confirming these phenomenal performers would be bringing my main characters to life.
Ell has previously narrated audiobooks like The Well of Loneliness by Radclyffe Hall, Trouble by Lex Croucher and Making It by Laura Kay. She’s also an accomplished writer and actor, having appeared in TV shows like Doctor Who and starred in short films Minutes and The Talent.
Robyn is a performer known for their in season 3 of Sex Education, who has also narrated the likes of Sistersong by Lucy Holland, Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield and Something Spectacular by Alexis Hall. They’re also a fantastic TikToker, educating audiences alongside their wife (who has an immaculate fashion sense) about language, health, and important topics within the LGBT+ communities.
I suggested both Ell and Robyn to my publisher, and I still can’t believe they agreed! I couldn’t have wished for two more perfect voices for my characters. I’m absolutely delighted and can’t wait to hear how they bring Serena and Beth to life.
The audiobook of That’s What She Said will be released on the 15th April, and it is available to pre-order now.
